CKT: Our Home, Our Future - December 18 Parlor Meeting hosted by the Berlins
Thursday, December 18, 2025 • 28 Kislev 5786
7:00 PM - 9:00 PMParklandKol Tikvah has embarked on a powerful, community-changing capital campaign with a goal of repositioning our congregation in the most advantageous financial position as we look towards the future. We face ever increasing costs and a mortgage term of $2.6 million that matures in April 2026 - Rabbi Boxman's departing dream is to ensure our congregation is in the best possible position for our next spiritual leader when they join our community. Rabbi Boxman retires in June 2026, and our goal is to meet these challenges head on. Kol Tikvah has been there for our Jewish community in tough times, including the MSD shooting, COVID and the aftermath of October 7. The history of the Jewish people is filled with examples of how we came together through tough times by sticking together as a community. Though good times and bad, the Jewish community unites us as a people and our synagogue is the center of our Jewish community. With our past informing us, our future is brighter than ever. As a proud, progressive, Reform congregation with Israel as central piece in who we are and what we do - we are preparing to shape the future for our people - not just in Northwest Broward, but around the world. We invite every member of the Kol Tikvah community to join us for a Parlor Meeting to share our stories of connection - to each other and to our sacred space. Below you will find a series of dates and times that you can sign up to participate. We invite you to join us for an inspirational conversation as we discuss the future of our community and our strength as a people. We will provide the specific location address privately to you, closer to the date of the event. Please note that no solicitation of funds will take place at these parlor meetings - and our goal is 100% participation in these meetings. Whether this is your first year as part of the Kol Tikvah family or the your 30th - we are stronger together, and together we can transform the Jewish community of Northwest Broward County and ensure Kol Tikvah remains a flagship institution for Jewish life.
